PDXMM CLOSING EVENT!!! Feverkin, Ann Annie, Kalaido

Feverkin

Feverkin is the musical alias of Adam Orfale, who produces instrumentally driven downtempo electronic music that is crafted by intricately sampling, morphing, and arranging recordings of traditional instruments with natural sounds.

Founded as a studio project, Feverkin is working his way into playing his compositions in a live format.  With an array of releases spanning across a decade, the sound of Feverkin has taken on layers of various electronic styles resulting in a unique balance between melody and beat.

Feverkin is a recent native to Portland, exploring the sound for his next album “Through the Night, into the Morning.”

Ann Annie

Located in the Pacific Northwest, Eli Goldberg aka Ann Annie, is a composer, musician and producer, drawing upon many genres, styles and instruments.

Kalaido

Kalaido is the lofi outlet of Portland-based composer/producer Phoenix Glendinning. He creates his melodic, instrumental hip hop sound by blending an array of live instruments, field recordings, and VSTs, drawing on his background in soundtrack music to create original compositions around his beats.

He made his debut release Moonlit Tales with College Music in December 2018, and has followed that with a series of singles and remixes throughout the following years. His second full-length release, Ghosts of the Floating World, released in April 2021 with 24/7 youtube streaming icon Lofi Girl, and has since amassed over 25 Million streams on various streaming platforms.

In early 2022 Kalaido took to the stage for the first time in various cities across the West Coast, sharing the stage with artists such as Vicky Farewell, Kennebec, and Tristan De Liege, combining DJing and live drumming to bring new life to his compositions.  In June 2023, a five-track EP entitled "View Through the Mist" was released via French beats dealer Hip Dozer, inspired in part by nature, traditional Chinese music, and the woodblock prints of Kawase Hasui.
